The most important question

Do not ask only whether a community has golf. Ask whether membership is required, bundled with the property, optional or purchased separately.

Venice Golf and Country Club

Venice Golf and Country Club is a private member-owned community with 587 homes. Homeowners select either a Golf or Club membership. Association obligations and membership obligations both need to be included in the purchase analysis.

Pelican Pointe Golf & Country Club

Pelican Pointe has 27 holes and approximately 1,355 homesites and villas. Residents receive social access, while full golf membership is separate. Sub-association services can differ by neighborhood and home type.

Sarasota National

Sarasota National has Golf Village and Lake Village ownership choices. Golf Village homes include membership; Lake Village homes do not. The community also has CDD and association costs that should be reviewed with the exact property.

Venetian Golf & River Club

Venetian Golf Club offers optional memberships to residents and non-residents. Community costs and private club dues should be compared separately.

Community Membership model Important distinction
Venice Golf and Country Club Required Golf or Club membership Tied to homeownership
Pelican Pointe Golf separate Resident social access
Sarasota National Bundled in Golf Village Not bundled in Lake Village
Venetian Golf & River Club Optional private membership Available to residents and non-residents
